Planning - People

Planning should be a collaborative process where initial stakeholders are identified and asked to contribute. This group usually will hold meetings to plan, brainstorm ideas, discuss issues and risks. One or more individuals may be assigned tasks to create specific components of the planning deliverables.

SponserThe sponser is the person who is advocating the project and is usually responsible for obtaining approvals and funding.

StakeholdersThe customer(s) and any other people or groups that will be impacted by the project.

Project ManagerDoes the actual planning work, manages the project progress, assembles and leads the team.
